Last updated October 6, 2026. This policy explains what Builders of the South LLC (“we”) collects through this website and how it is used.

What we collectWhen you check out we collect your name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address, and the items you order. Card and bank details are entered on Stripe’s secure page and are never stored by us. Our hosting provider logs standard technical data such as IP address and browser type. Your cart is kept in your own browser so it is still there when you return.

How we use itTo process and ship orders, send receipts and order messages, answer questions, prevent fraud, meet legal and tax obligations, and exchange items.

Who receives itWe share information only with the services that make the store work: Stripe (payments and fraud prevention), Affirm and Klarna (if you choose to pay over time, they receive the details they need to review and service your payment plan under their own privacy policies), Vercel (website hosting), and our email service (order messages). Carriers receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order. We do not sell your personal information and we do not show ads.

Cookies and similar technologyWe use only what the store needs to run: your cart in your browser’s storage, and Stripe’s cookies, which Stripe uses to process payments and detect fraud. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Your choicesYou can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep for tax and legal reasons. Email info@buildersofthesouth.com or call (504) 329-7937. We will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request. California residents have additional rights under California law, including to know, delete and correct personal information and to opt out of its sale; we do not sell personal information.

Keeping itWe keep order records for as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes.

ChildrenThis store is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
